Interclub

The Diamond Valley Photographic Society has long established links with both the Alexandra and Rosanna Camera Clubs. Competitions are held between our clubs each year.

Alexandra Camera Club
The Alexandra Camera Club has been operating for many years; since 1958! We have 18 members, and meet on the first Wednesday of each month. Ours is an active club, with many excursions, workshops and monthly competitions.

We have an annual exchange competition with the Diamond Valley Camera Club, and three interclub competitions each year between the clubs of the North East Goulburn Valley (NEGV; Albury, Bright, Myrtleford, Shepparton and Benalla). Over the years the club has had an active role in exhibiting photographic work during community celebrations, such as the town's centenary of foundation in 1969, and has contributed to a local book publication and various exhibitions/ events.

Winning images from our local competitions are displayed at the Figleaf Cafe, Alexandra Library and Kellock Lodge. Members also exhibit (and sell) their work at the Annual Rotary Art Show, held each Easter.

Rosanna Camera Club
The Rosanna Photographic club was founded in 1959. We are a group of amateur photographers spanning a multitude of ages who meet fortnightly to share photographic experiences with other self-minded individuals.

Rosanna is fortunate to have a stable core of members with outstanding knowledge of the photographic world. This knowledge is passed onto members thus ensuring that the standard of work is maintained at a high level and that members seeking a challenge are satisfied.
