Welcome to the Diamond Valley Photographic Society

Our meetings are held in a hall at Gresswell Uniting Church on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 8.00p.m. The DVPS offers open and set subject photography competitions, workshops, interclub competitions, outings, and a variety of social activities throughout the year for its members. Have a look at our current syllabus for more details about this year's activities. Photographic Competition being hosted by DVPS Inc. at invitation of Australian Plants Society Yarra Yarra, themed AUSTRALIAN FLORA.

Diamond Valley Photographic Society is running a competition for all AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS with the COMPETITION SUBJECT BEING "AUSTRALIAN FLORA".
The competition will have two types of medium for entrants which are PRINTS AND DIGITAL IMAGES. DIGITAL IMAGES WILL BE SUBMITTED on a DVD or  CD.
COST  IS $12.00 PER SECTION, WHICH ENTITLES ENTRANTS TO FOUR SEPARATE IMAGES IN EACH SECTION.
WINNING IMAGES WILL BE ON DISPLAY AT THE  Australian Plants Expo held by the Australian Plants Society IN THE ELTHAM COMMUNITY CENTRE, MAIN STREET ELTHAM, on 8th and 9th September.

The new 2012| 2013 Greater Melbourne Entertainment™ Books will be available from late March, and we'll be selling these as a fund-raiser for the club.

Once again it is the start of a new year for the DVPS, so welcome to back to our existing members, and if you are thinking of joining, feel free to come along and find out what we do. We have a new syllabus published, so to find out the events and competitions that will be held this year go to the "Syllabus" page. There is something for everyone.
