Last week Diamond Valley hosted the annual interclub competition with the Rosanna Camera Club. We had a good turn out from each club, which filled our club room. Fourty images were presented and judged, where each club submits twenty images, ten prints and ten digital. The images were of an excellent quality from each club, and this was born out by the fact that Rosanna won the evening by the smallest of possible margins, one point. Well done Rosanna.

We have now created a new section in the members area called "Ask the Club". You can find this on the "Members Menu" once you log in.

This is the place where members can leave messages on the website asking questions about photogaphy. Think of it as an information exchange. Please feel free to have a look and ask a question, answer a question that is already there, or just provide some information that other members may find useful.

The DVPS annual weekend away was a great success. This year the event was held in Apollo Bay, and this coincided with the VAPS Muster. A huge thanks to Susan Peterson who hosted us all for the weekend. A number of ex club members also dropped by to enjoy the weekend, and it was good to catch up with them. As well as the VAPS activities, some of the members travelled around to the local sites on both days to try their hand at creating some landscape (at Gibson Steps) and waterfall (at Hopetoun Falls) images. A big thanks ot Geoff White for offering his advice to us at these locations.
